Smart Rules are at the heart of the BioTopControl system. Once defined, they are permanently and reliably adhered to—without the need for constant readjustment.
They ensure that your system makes decisions independently and always acts according to clear, comprehensible rules.
All Smart Rules are based on the real-time values of all connected sensors. This allows you to create flexible rules that automatically respond to changes in the environment and trigger precise actions.
Scheduled Events enable Smart Rules to be executed on a time-controlled basis. Actions can be triggered automatically at fixed times, in time windows, or according to recurring schedules—reliably and independently of sensor data.
Conditional logic (if–then) enables smart rules to be structured logically: when defined conditions are met, the corresponding actions are executed automatically. This allows rules to respond in a targeted and traceable manner to sensor values, times, or combinations thereof.
All rule modules can be freely combined with each other. Sensor values, schedules, and conditions work together seamlessly, enabling precise, customized smart rules.
Assign priority levels to your rules, ensuring critical actions take precedence. Rules can also be made dependent on others, creating sophisticated automation sequences where one action triggers or enables another.
